Mon Wharf
When walking down to the Wharf, a lot of things are seen in different times of the day. The lot along the river side feels desolate even though there are traces of people being there. The traces show that people travel down to the wharf whether to find shelter or leisure. It's interesting that a common communal place would be by the water, almost as if it was a watering whole. However there are warning signs to stay clear of becoming in contact of the water which ties into the irony of a place where people are daily visiting but aren't seen, and water that cannot be used although it is available. Mon Wharf shows the deterioration of a society and how to environment is affected by it. Being directly under an underpass gives it a sense of representing the underworld of Pittsburgh.
